Poetical Outlaws is a non-funded DIY spoken word & music night held at Diego's Joint in Sunderland hosted by Gary the Hat. We provide a stage for people of all backgrounds, genders & sexualities to express themselves creatively in a fun & safe environment. We also want to give people an opportunity to get paid for performing so there is a cash on the door entrance fee of £5 which gets shared between the 3 Wanted Fugitives. WANTED FUGITIVES Three Wanted Fugitives (featured artists) will be performing a set on the night for their bail money (a share of the door money). This is usually 2 poets and 1 music based act to end the night with. OPEN MIC 5 minute slots are available on the night. We welcome people of all abilities, whether that be first timers or seasoned veterans. Sign up is on the night at the door from 7pm.
