WHAT'S HAPPENING
Join us for a day of creativity, connection, and self-expression to provide tools that support you as a creative. Guided by Anna Margarita, BBC Music Introducing's spoken word Artist and Co- Founder of The Olive Branch LDN along with Merch Hüsey: Spoken Word & Music Events, and Isabella Verrico, Founder of Mica Yoga and Actor. This workshop is designed for anyone with an interest in writing, poetry, and personal growth—no experience required. Whether you're looking to overcome resistances or personal blocks or deepen your creative practice, this space offers you the opportunity to explore and unlock your potential. -Poem Sharing A sharing from Anna of her most popular poem 'We are not Divided' - Yoga Practise moving us into presences & support the mind/body connection - Gong & Journal Journey led by Isabella designed to help you enter a deep state of relaxation and creativity accessing theta brainwave states—one of the slowest brainwave frequencies, measuring 4-7 cycles per second (Hz). In this state, creativity flows more freely. Several regions of the brain activate and connect, facilitating the kind of insights and new connections that spark innovation and fresh ideas. It’s similar to the moments you experience when ideas suddenly pop into your mind while on autopilot in the shower or daydreaming. This brainwave state encourages us to break through mental barriers, allowing new solutions to emerge and creative breakthroughs to unfold. Journals are provided for you to take note of any thing that surfaces - resistances/ emotions/ ideas/ interesting discoveries. This process is designed to help you deepen your connection to your creative self and release any creative blocks! - Writing time With writing prompts from Anna, you'll then have 15-20 minutes of focused writing time in silence, where you can immerse yourself in your own creative flow. The workshop will conclude with an optional group sharing, offering participants the chance to reflect on and celebrate their creative process in a supportive, open environment. 90% of the proceeds will go towards Save the Children to support their work with children and families in need. Bring your curiosity and your heart, and allow this day to help you unlock your full creative potential.
