Window to the Spirits presents KINETIC an open mic and cypher that encourages you to move. We are welcoming poets, singers and rappers to perform on the open mic and to go with the flow in the cypher to be present in the moment. As for the audience we want you to move, dance, sing and chant. Encourage the performers and channel the energy. Art should move you, move through you and move others - in a sense, art should be KINETIC. There will be an open mic in the first half to perform please sign up on arrival. The cypher is in the second half where everyone is welcome to perform while the DJ plays beats this is open to poets, rappers and singers. No intros, or preambles just mic, decks and flow. Everyone is encouraged to stand, move and dance to amplify the energy in the room.
